1. about or relating to Seinfeld and Spielberg, that is, Sein[feld][Spiel]berg, or in a more general sense, having absolutely nothing to do with the aforementioned individuals except in name
2. website of a 30-something, the name spawned whilst day-dreaming in an undergraduate Philosophy class entitled Thanatopsis: Death and Dying. Perhaps I don't have the neurotic fortitude of Woody Allen to focus all my attention on dying.
3. weird, I know, but what person's old college IM/internet handle isn't? What can I say - it stuck.
My primary interest in photography is Urban Decay and just plain Urban photography. Things in and around New York City also interest me quite a bit.
The most intriguing subject for me (by far) and the subject of most of my photography is evidence of human activity absent of actual human presence. This is best portrayed, I think, in scenes of urban decay; the remaining bits of scenes that tell so much about its past yet pose only more questions. My goal is to capture the feelings of mystery, sadness, excitement, intrigue, and anything else that an individual experiences in the presence of such evidence.
I shoot digital only.
On prior incarnations of Seinberg.net I sold prints directly within the site, and you'll notice that's no longer an option. Contact Seinberg if you're interested in an image -- I'd rather not tackily show print purchasing options here.
I'm located New York City, where I'm a software engineer at a firm whose name you've probably used as a verb today.
